When Maria first called me, all I needed to hear was "we really feel your style of shooting" and "it will be a seaside wedding with an unusual schedule...". I got the butterflies. I'd wanted to capture a wedding day by the sea for so long and it finally happened - and the butterflies still wake up when I go through the photos. These two were such joy to photograph, their love was so overflowing that my heart was full throughout the whole day. Scroll down because I really want to tell you more about the day! It was so special.
This beautiful day began early in the morning when the groom, all of the guests and me got on a ferry to get these crazy souls marry... on an island! And what's even more special is that the bride, her mother and two more girls spent the night in the only small building that provides a place to stay there. Two rituals on St. Anasthasia Island later, including tears, laughter and lots of hugs, we got back on the ferry and the day continued. The evening party was so simple, so sweet and classy. No extra fuss, no crazy party lights and smoke machines, no big schedules, just live music, friends, families and joy under the stars.
